THE MISSION
Tirza Design is fashion with purpose committed to the empowerment of women, who have survived human trafficking, exploitation, and other forms of abuse.
Fashion is the tool to help women achieve education, economic independence, and healing because they are made in God’s image. Employment for those in vulnerable communities is one of the most effective ways to bring prevention to human trafficking and exploitation. All of our designs empower survivors & the marginalized around the world through sustainable & dignified employment & job skill training to break the cycle of poverty.
Tirza Design is committed to featuring fair trade suppliers, eco-friendly packaging, and the highest quality gold-filled/sterling silver findings made in America. Every purchase is invested in the fight against exploitation and the tools to succeed directly into the hands of survivors. We accomplish this through our handcrafted designs, other survivor-made and women-owned brands that we feature, as well as a percentage of proceeds are a source of revenue to non-profit organizations with the same vision.
BEHIND THE BRAND
Nikkie started Tirza in 2020 after working alongside many models and rehab centers. After seeing so many women overcoming situations of adversity such as human trafficking, domestic and drug abuse, & poverty – was the desperate need for safe & supportive employment and the ability to provide for themselves while working through recovery and getting back on their feet.
Our not-just-for profit business model is unique in the sense that we do more than just giving monthly donations. The primary goal through the sale of our products is the ability to give safe employment, on the job training, mentorship, and community directly to the hard-working women who are overcoming.
